Bailey update

He came home yesterday for the night, then back to the vets today, home again now and another day at the vets tomorrow.  His sugar levels are down from ridiculous to just high, so now they can do a glucose tolerance curve which (I think) will tell them how much insulin to give him.  He's been on pretty constant IV insulin since Monday night and it wasn't until last night that his sugar levels weren't scary.  Two shots a day for life, and the only food he can have is a special brand for diabetic dogs.  He is fast asleep on the couch - way too much excitement over the last few days for an old dog!
