I've been on LJ for 8 years in August, so I guess its time to fill out the bio, eh?
Mom, 2 kids, late teens early 20s. Lights of my life.
Wife, almost 26 years. Hanging in there.
PhD, professor, biology, particularly evolution of disease, coevolution of insect symbionts. Fell (OK, pushed) off the tenure track in 2002, back on it in 2011.
Personal quirks, many.
Eternally grateful to my f'list for everything they have gotten me through, the men they have introduced me to (in an extremely superficial and PWP sort of way), and generally hauling me back into life after life and I had a bad falling out.
