We had a very nice Christmas Eve and Christmas. No family drama, lots of cooking, limited overeating, several naps and I got all my bracelets and knit scarves made in time!

I asked for the first book in some fantasy series I want to read - same thing I did last year and it worked out really well. I got "The Morgaine Saga" by CJ Cherryh, "Cordelia's Honor" (a recommended starting place in the Miles Vorkosigan books) by Lois McMaster Bujold and "Terrier" by Tamora Pierce.

Wow looks like Santa was good to you........
I want to get a basic Kindle and download a bunch of my ff from my hard drive so I no have to sit in front of my PC to read it.

I had dinner Christmas Eve at my sister and BIL's and it was a quiet evening and then yesterday Greek food at my friend Kathy's home.....which was delicious but overall same as you, limited overeating.
I don't feel as though I was denied anything.....as what we had for dinner both days was entirely sufficient and delicious.

When Sandy and I were waiting at Pok Pok for a table, there was a woman using a reader and I asked if it was a Kindle and she said it was a 'touch' model. Not the most basic but next step up.
I look at the screen and would LOVE to be able to be out like she was, also waiting, and do some reading. The thing looked very light weight and that it could be easily slipped into a bag
The font was very easy to read.
I asked her if font size could be changed and she indicated yes.
I also got some good instructions on how to download stuff from my hard drive to it so I can take along or just read at leisure here at home. I read last night for awhile in front of my computer but would have much rather sat on my sofa by a lamp to do it. Much more
comfy.

I'm glad you had a lovely day. And I can't wait to hear what you think of the Vorkosigan-verse. :-)

I hope you enjoy them. :-)

And thank you for the beautiful bracelet. Is there a trick to the multi-strands? I'm trying to figure out how to wrap it so it won't slide off. ::hugs::

::facepalm::

I didn't realize the decorative bits are a clasp, so I was trying to wrap it somehow. It fits perfectly! (And I'm a moron. *sigh*)

It all sounds delightful! And a nice lot of books to get stuck into. :)
