momsalive1Wish I had some words for the school shooting in CT, but that would involve making some sense of the unthinkable.
Grading is done, I just need a report from someone else on lab grades and I can finish entering them into the registrar's system. He should have had them to me a week ago....
I haven't done anything Christmas-y yet, but it starts now, as does being back on lj. Yay for the break! I am very hopeful that I will get Christmas cards done this year.

Date: 2012-12-15 09:41 pm (UTC)Today I went over to visit my sister and BIL...was suppose to be there while they decorated the tree, but the tree was not even in the living room when I arrived.
Sandy came home and we ended up eating pastries, which she had picked up at a local bakery while she was out, and drinking coffee
Later as I was getting ready to leave Jim came downstairs and begin
the process of bringing it inside
They bought a noble fir.
The rampage at Clackamus Mall and then in CT has left me
feeling like I am walking through mud up to my knees
I cannot bear to watch anymore.
Yesterday I opted out
I think the families ought to be left alone.
The families and community need and deserve time to grieve.
