Hi f'list!!!

I haven't posted in a long while or been reading. Just got out of the habit, and I've been spending time on FB, but I miss you all and so I am back.

My attempt to start an exercise habit has had a rocky start - I just won't do it. But I do keep trying - as they say, fall down 4 times, get up 5,  I did lose about 8 pounds this summer by eating more reasonably.

Its my 8 classes semester, so I am very busy.  Also have more committee and project work than before.  I put in my application for tenure last week - all signs are good.  But I thought that 12 years ago the last time I did this, and got blind sided.  I'll know in December.

My daughter got a job managing a vineyard in PA, and my son is doing well out in San Diego,  My husband has had a rough couple of months following the death of his brother, but I think he is on the upswing.   Owen is happilly destroying toys and rawhide bones, and being adorable while refusing to come when called.

I'll do some catchup reading....hope to find you all are well.*****hugs all around*****

Fingers crossed you get good news in December. And it's great to know the kids are doing well. I have some unfortunate crap going on in my life, but it's all in my LJ. Long term I expect everything to be fine, but the short term's going to suck. :-(

I am not around as often but always catch up with Friends (as I am doing now). Sorry to hear of Bro-i-law's death. But great news about the kids (and Owen).
