I am planning to join Mrs. MSB in posting about gardening, maybe as the "Rotting Garden Logs". As a first entry I have been looking for signs of spring I could post. No luck whatsoever until Sunday when I heard what I am assuming are northern spring peepers (Pseudacris crucifer). They are about an inch long, ridiculously cute, and, like a surprising number of animals, don't mind getting partially frozen. Scroll down and you can click on a recording........

The U.S. Geological Survey site is, IMHO, an excellent use of your tax dollars. Lots of interesting stuff.

I don't know that we have any tree frogs in UK. It was great being able to hear yours!

I will try and post my first pics today.
